Dr. Erin Porter is a 2007 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. Immediately following veterinary school, she practiced as an ambulatory equine practitioner for 2 years before returning to UF to complete a specialized internship focused on equine lameness and large and small animal diagnostic imaging. As a faculty Radiologist at UF, she was designated Service Chief of Diagnostic Imaging from 2017-2021. In 2021,she became board certified as an Equine Diagnostic Imaging specialist within the American College of Veterinary Radiology, and is very excited to join the team at Community Care Veterinary Specialists. Her imaging interests include equine musculoskeletal imaging and small animal ultrasound. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, yoga and spending time with her two children.
