Dr. DeMent is an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian at our Meadowbrook location. She grew up around Atlanta, Georgia, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the College of William & Mary. After working as a veterinary technician, she went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Dr. DeMent is especially interested in strengthening communication with pet owners during emergencies and learning ways to help reduce stress and improve comfort for patients and their families in the ER.
