Alyssa
Veterinary Assistant
Alyssa is working through Penn Foster towards her certification as a Veterinary Technician, but participated 4 years in the Veterinary Assisting program before graduating from Santa Fe High School. Her interests include veterinary emergency and surgery. Alyssa has a dog, a Beagle/Hound mix named Georgia, a Border Collie named Tillie, and several cows, some who were bottle fed in their early months.
Elizabeth
Veterinary Assistant
Elizabeth is a Vet Assistant who is currently graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s in Biology and a minor in Nutritional Sciences. As a pre-vet student, she aspires to become an equine veterinarian or a small animal surgeon. She is the best friend and owner of a rescue cat named Kiki.
Kate
Veterinary Assistant
Kate is a Vet Assistant and an undergraduate at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s in Animal Science. She aspires to become a DVM focusing on exotic animal medicine. Fittingly, she has two gargoyle geckos and a cockatiel at home, and she enjoys reading and playing video games in her spare time.
Prana
Veterinary Assistant
Prana is one of our Veterinary Assistants who is hoping to become a Veterinarian, and is slated to graduate with her UF Bachelors in 2025. She has 3 pets: a dog named Hammond, a bird named Chester, and a horse named Pistol. She also fosters cats. Prana’s professional interest is in veterinary radiology, and in her spare time, she loves horseback riding, and hanging out with her friends.
Caroline
Veterinary Assistant
Caroline is a Veterinary Assistant that is hoping to become a veterinarian. She is currently currently attending SFC, and then UF, majoring in wildlife ecology. She has a French Bulldog named Nilla, ands in her spare time, Caroline enjoys reading, crafts, and time with her family and pets.
Heysel
Veterinary Assistant
Haysel serves as a Vet Assistant and is pursuing degrees in both Sociology and Animal Sciences. Professionally, Haysel is interested in veterinary dermatology and is the owner of a 12-year-old Yorkie named Pichi. Haysel loves to spend any free time at the beach, reading, or relaxing with friends.
Luke
Veterinary Assistant
Luke is a Veterinary Assistant who is currently enrolled in a CVT program with the hopes that it he can follow this program into one as a Veterinary Technical Specialist in Avian and exotic medicine. He has 3 dogs, 4 cats, 10 parrots and a chinchilla.
Robin
Veterinary Assistant
Robin is one of our positive Veterinary Assistants who graduated from Houston Community College as an Animal Health Technician. She has a dog named Polly Pocket, loves horses, and in her spare time, helps a friend of hers with 5 horses. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, her son, and his partner.
Anna
Veterinary Assistant
Anna is a Veterinary Assistant that is currently working towards her BS in Animal Sciences and a MS in Shelter Medicine at UF. She is very interested in the areas of emergency and surgery, and has a dog named Storm, and a cat named Salem. In her spare time, she can be found doing CrossFit, photography, or just outdoors. She has also volunteered with the Special Olympics.
Jaden
Veterinary Assistant
Jaden is a Vet Assistant currently studying Animal Science at the University of Florida. Her professional interests include animal welfare, client education, and the care of small companion animals. She is the owner of a tuxedo cat named Scara and enjoys spending her free time at the gym, paddle boarding, or visiting local coffee shops.
Marissa
Veterinary Assistant
Marissa is one of our helpful Veterinary Assistants that just loves veterinary medicine. She hopes to get into Vet School after graduating August 2025 with a BA in Psychology, and has a Tabby Cat named Pepper. In her spare time, she hangs out with her close friends watching shows, coloring, or doing crafts. She also loves the outdoors while hiking or fossil hunting.
Rogue
Veterinary Assistant
Rogue is a Vet Assistant who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and plans to pursue a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She has a professional interest in general practice with exotics, specifically birds and reptiles. Rogue cares for a cat named Bailey, three snakes, and eight geckos, and she enjoys drawing and gaming.
