Shannon
Certified Veterinary Technician
Shannon is one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians at our Tower Hill location. She has two dogs: Navi, the malchi pompoo, and Red, the lab shepherd ridgeback mix. She also has two black kittens (Oliver and Hutch), and four chickens: Henwig, Pigwidgeon, Fawkes, and Mark. She is especially interested in Dentistry and Anesthesia, loves gardening and watching cooking/baking shows, and in her spare time, spends it with her partner, Joe, and her pets.
Justin
Veterinary Technician
Justin is one of our Veterinary Technicians applying to vet school after having graduated from Delaware Valley University with a Bachelors in Small Animal Science. He has a dog, a tortoise, a turtle and 3 snakes. Justin enjoys body building/weightlifting, and taking his dog hiking and to new places with friends.
Tyler
Veterinary Technician
Tyler is one of our Veterinary Technicians that also helps maintain our various equipment around the hospital. With a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and a minor in Zoology from the UF, his goal is to go to Vet School to become a veterinarian for ‘exotics’. He has 25 pets ranging from dogs and cats to rodents, reptiles, and birds! When Tyler is not working, he can be found hanging out with his family and pets.
Scott
Veterinary Technician
Scott Is one of our helpful Vet Assistants that is also in school pursing a BA in Anthropology, and a minor in African Studies. He is very interested in environmental anthropology. He has 2 cats, a tabby named Malkia, who doesn't have a tail and a black, domestic short hair named Bilquis. When he is not at school or work, he enjoys hiking, reading and playing video and board games with friends.
Cheyenne
Veterinary Technician
Cheyenne is one of our Veterinary Technicians who loves working in emergency medicine: The fast-paced environment, the full spectrum of conditions encountered, and just helping pets and clients when they need it most. She has four cats and a dog. In her spare time, she enjoys wandering the outdoors, traveling with her partner, kayaking the various springs and homesteading while relaxing on weekends.
Monique
Veterinary Technician
Monique is an anesthesia technician who, since 2012, has held various positions in shelter medicine, animal behavior consulting, and specialty anesthesia. She would like to become specialized in anesthesia/analgesia, and enjoys the teaching aspect that her varied background allows. In her spare time, Monique loves exploring the outdoors, landscaping the yard, or napping in a sunny spot with her partner. Currently, she has one polydactyl cat (with very strong opinions about when she should be fed) and a few exotic reptile pets.
Jessie
Veterinary Technician
Jessie is an experienced technician that holds a BS degree in Animal Science and an AS in Zoology. She has 2 dogs: Beni, the hound mix and Mushu, the Pekingese. Jessie also made room for 2 pigeons (Peep and Hope), 2 horses (Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy), a turtle named Tuck, and many, many chickens. Jessie has a personal interest in Homesteading, and in her spare time, enjoys playing competitive video games as a team with her boyfriend and best friend.
Zander
Veterinary Technician
Zander is one of our helpful Vet Assistants who also has a passion for anesthesia and emergency care in specialty medicine. He plans to become a Certified Veterinary Technician at the St. Petersburg College. Zander has a Corgi that he loves, and in his spare time, he spends it with his partner and Corgi going on walks at parks, beaches, and fairs. They all love to travel.
Stephanie
Veterinary Technician
Stephanie is one of our Oncology Veterinary Technicians who also has particular interests in pain management and quality of life support. She has 6 cats, 3 indoor and 3 outdoor, and enjoys hiking, exploring and gardening. In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and son, and creates art that she shares in art shows and markets.
